All training is offroad - during the winter don't forget your headtorch!


Thirdsday Run

April to September 2025 we're exploring some uphill racing.

Every third Thursday of the month we hold "Thirdsday," a self-timed, off-road 5k, 70m race at Daviot Woods.
You may complete the race at whatever time of day suits you on Thursday. If you're on Strava, it will pick up your run in the segment. If not, post your time on the HHR Facebook page or tell Dougie Macdonald.

Social Running

We also organise social runs around the Highlands, winter and summer solstice runs, and full moon runs with the occasional coffee and cafe stop. Sometimes we go away for a social weekend of running (and not running)!

There was a new Thursday social run happening at 18:30 in and around different areas of Inverness. If anyone wants to instigate this again please do so! Members can find information in their inbox or WhatsApp group.
